Who we are

Why temio TRADES

We've operated inside and led small and medium businesses, including trades, technology and more, so we know what it takes to run a successful company. We also advise some of the most nimble and technologically advanced companies in the world, early-stage technology companies, and we bring those best practices to the trades. Everything we've learned about process, technology and partnerships comes with us, translated to fit the business in front of us. We use modern tools, including AI where it quietly earns its keep, and we never lead with it.

Book 30 minutes Baltimore, Towson and the surrounding counties. Thirty minutes at your shop.

Keep what built your business. Fix what slows it down.

Every engagement runs the same way, whether it's a process fix, a referral program, a tool, a website or a handoff plan. We listen first, we do one thing at a time at a fixed price, and we don't call it done until it's actually being used. You pick what fits, one offering or several. Technology is one of the tools. It's never the point.

What working with us looks like

Here's how it actually works.

Step 1 · Listen first

We start with the people who do the work.

You, the office, and the shop or field. For some offerings that's a full walk of the business the way you'd walk a job; for others it's a focused conversation about one area. Either way, you get a plain read on where you stand before anything is built or changed.

You walk away with

  • What's working, and what we'd leave alone
  • Where the real gap is, and what it's costing you
  • A recommendation you can act on with us, on your own, or not at all
Step 2 · Do the work

One thing at a time, at a fixed price.

A defined scope and a finish date, agreed up front. We own the work, your people do their part, and a short weekly check-in keeps it from drifting back to the bottom of the pile. Most engagements run four to twelve weeks depending on the offering.

We measure what the work was meant to move, and we agree on those two or three numbers before we start: hours back in the office, fewer dropped handoffs and callbacks, faster quotes and invoices, work coming in by source, calls from the website, how fast a new hire gets up to speed.

Step 3 · Make it stick

Nothing is done until it's in use.

People trained. Steps written down so they survive turnover. The new habit, system or tool actually running in the business, not sitting in a binder or a browser tab. If something isn't being used, we find out why and fix that too.

After that, you can keep us in your corner month to month, or take it from here. Either one is a good outcome.

Ongoing

Stay in Your Corner

Monthly. Optional. Sits on top of any of the six.

A monthly scorecard with numbers you didn't have before. A standing check that the new habits and systems haven't slipped. A quarterly look at what's next. A call when a decision comes up fast and you want someone who already knows the business.

Fixed price
Agreed up front. You own the deliverable either way.
Everyone, top to bottom
We talk to the office and the shop or field, not just the front desk. Owners tell us hearing what their own people think is the part they didn't expect to value most.
Start anywhere
No required order. Start with the offering that solves the problem in front of you, and add others only if they earn it.
What we won't touch
Your accounting system, or the industry software that works. And we won't turn your company into a tech company.
Questions owners ask

Straight answers.

Where do you work?
Baltimore and Towson, Maryland, and the surrounding counties, about a 45 minute drive. The first conversation is thirty minutes at your shop.
Who is temio TRADES for?
Established trades, manufacturing and industrial companies. Owners and operators who have built something real and want it to run smoother, grow through the relationships they already have, and take a sensible first step with technology.
Are you a technology company?
No. Technology is one of the tools. It's never the point. Some engagements have nothing to buy, and we won't turn your company into a tech company.
Will you touch our accounting or industry software?
No. Your accounting system, or the industry software that works, stays put.
Do we have to start with a particular offering?
No required order. Start with the offering that solves the problem in front of you, and add others only if they earn it.
What does it cost?
Every engagement is a fixed price, agreed up front. You own the deliverable either way. There are no dollar figures on this site because the price depends on the business and the scope, which is what the thirty minutes is for.
We've tried to make changes before and they didn't stick. Why would this be different?
Because this time somebody's whole job is to push it through. Weekly check-ins, one named owner per fix, steps written with the crew so they survive turnover, training in the shop or the field, and a check a few weeks later. Nothing gets called done until it's actually in use. That holds whether you're on site every day or running the business from a distance.
What if we don't know what we need?
That's the usual starting point. Bring what's been on your mind. If none of this makes sense for your business, we'll tell you that too.

Let's have the conversation.

No pitch. An honest look at where the business stands.

Thirty minutes at your shop. If none of this makes sense for your business, we'll tell you that too.

Let's see if it's worth it.
